Since parting with her widely celebrated band of women, Sick of Sarah, veteran rock singer Abisha Uhl has explored the world of being a solo artist, an actress, and most recently embarked on new musical journey with a"super-group" that includes former members of the popular Minneapolis bands Vaudeville & The Phoenix Philosophy. The new project name: Hotel Caviar. 

 

With Sick of Sarah for over a decade, she signed to a record label, tirelessly toured the globe, played shows alongside massive industry names, and had the best of times which are well-documented on YouTube.  In 2011, Abisha also discovered a passion for acting while playing the Role of “Bender” in the LGBT streaming television series Girl/Girl Scene.  She went on to star in the film Loss Prevention and a slew of other independent films including January (available on Amazon Prime).  Abisha released a solo EP in 2017 spawning the infectious sing-and-dance-a-long single, "Better," and released an epic love story music video to go along with it depicting classic on-screen romances such as Titanic and Say Anything.  It's her latest project though, Hotel Caviar, that has been keeping her busy writing and recording the past two years. The band members are buzzing about their newfound comradery and the songs they are crafting together.

Renowned as a prominent icon in the LGBT community, especially in her musical hometown of Minneapolis, Abisha has cultured a unique relationship with her fans who consistently reiterate how her music has impacted their lives and helped them through difficult times. She is a natural spontaneous performer with an infectious energy and that instantly and effortlessly captivates a room. Together, with the talented musicians of Hotel Caviar, they bring a sense of trust and consistency to the live show and breathe new life into some of Abisha Uhl's staple tunes. Their dreamy alt-rock single "Love Isn't" was released under Abisha Uhl and is available on all digital platforms. The song serves as a magnificent teaser for the forthcoming album in that will be the first official release under the Hotel Caviar name.
